Wicked - is based on the best-selling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, a parallel novel of L. Frank Baum's classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and is told from the perspective of the the witches. Elphaba, is the future Wicked Witch of the West. In Wicked we watch her struggling relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. Their friendship is tested through politics, love interests, opposing viewpoints and Elphaba's eventual fall from grace in the Land of Oz. A wonderful and entertaining musical with memorable songs like: "Popular" and "The Wizard and I".
